Free wellbeing in retirement course

We’re working with The Charity for Civil Servants to share a new course for civil servants approaching retirement or already retired.

Don’t Tone Alone’s Wellbeing in Retirement Course is designed to empower participants to look after their wellbeing as they transition into retirement. Before we retire our working life takes up a large portion of our time and becomes a central part of daily life. In fact, we often see it as part of our identity. So how do we manage this when we stop working?

What to expect from the course?

As life changes, it’s important that we equip ourselves with the same tools to express ourselves in a way that we did in our working life – perhaps even more so. Learning from retired civil servants, this course addresses the themes and challenges that come up frequently for those who retire. The course looks at what it means to retire and asks participants to create personal definitions that enable them to thrive. Don’t Tone Alone CIC provides practical frameworks in which people can then support their physical, mental and social health as they transition into retirement well with confidence.

The course runs once a week for six weeks and last for approximately 1-hour run on Microsoft Teams. Groups, of up to 10 people, discuss various topics and deeply reflective activities are used to get the most out of the experience.

Registering:

To reserve a place on this six week course, please complete the registration page and questionnaire that follows it.
