ELECTION TO THE VACANCY ON THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL (EC) FOR MIDLANDS REGIONAL REPRESENTATIVE

Special Group Circular 946 issued in November invited nominations from Groups in the Midlands Region for the vacant position of a Midlands Regional Representative, who would sit on the Executive Council.

At the close of nominations on 8 December 2023, two Groups had nominated Kevin Billson from the Leicester & Rutland Group. The two nominating Groups were Leicestershire & Rutland Group; and the Gloucestershire Group.

As there was only one nominee, a ballot is not required, and I am delighted to welcome Kevin Billson to the Executive Council as the Midlands Region Representative.

Notice of successful candidate communicated to all the other Groups in the next Group Circular to be issued in early January.
