Benjamin Beeson: Local historian Phil Swallow will tell us about Benjamin Beeson, who fought in the Charge of the Light Brigade in the Crimean war. He later worked in this area in the mounted division of the Metropolitan police.

Meetings are held at on 2nd Tuesday of each month, starting at 11am except in December.

We meet at Ruskin House, 23 Coombe Rd, Croydon CR0 1BD, at the junction with Park Lane.
