IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT SEPTEMBER MEETING

Unfortunately, we have been obliged to cancel our September meeting. The main business would have been to discuss the Agenda for the CSPA National AGM (our delegate is Dave Parker, our current Chair) You will shortly receive the agenda in the mail. This will be in the Autumn edition of The Pensioner magazine. Should there be any issues on which you have a view please contact Dave (address below). He will take your wishes into account when he votes.

We will be meeting in the usual way on 13 December 2023 at the Riverside Centre Newport at 11.15am. Our main business then will be to hear a report from our Regional NEC member Tony Hall on the National scene generally and Dave Parker’s view on what took place at the CSPA National AGM, but there will be plenty of time for use raise issues CSPA ought to be considering locally and nationally.

We aim to represent the views of all retired Civil servants, industrial and non-industrial, in serving and those who had a variety of jobs.

We meet on Wednesdays 13 December and 13 March, the latter being our 2024 AGM, when we will have a speaker from I W Healthwatch.

We would love to see more members each quarter, particularly so we can represent retired Civil Servants throughout the Island. All are welcome to come along.
