The autumn budget is fast approaching and there is no sign that there will be any significant investment made to help people across this country get the reliable, good quality care we need.
We won’t stay quiet. Together, we will take a stand. Before the autumn Budget, we will travel to Downing Street to hand-deliver a symbolic red box filled with real stories from people like you – stories that show the human cost of the Government’s failure to invest in social care.
Stories from older people and disabled people who need better care, more hours of support, or are still waiting for help to begin. From people whose care packages have been cut, or whose visits are far too short to meet their needs. From unpaid carers who are exhausted, struggling to keep going without proper help…
Too many people are being left without the care and support they need, cut off from the independence, dignity, and security that everyone deserves. Together, we will remind the Government how important care is to millions of us across the country.
